Our Church's Ministries
Service Ministries
These ministries are involved with and are expected to be available for every facet of work at our church. Each has distinct and specific duties. Deacons are officers which have a scriptural origin. The trustees, because of the fact that most Churches are incorporated, have delegate authority to speak for the Church as it relates to business matters and only, what the Church allows them. The Deaconess’ serve as a support of the Church, Pastor, and where ever they are asked. Deaconess’ are not officers.
Deacons —
Servants of Faith and Fellowship
Embody the heart of service within Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Guided by scripture, they support the Pastor, care for the congregation, and nurture spiritual growth through prayer, compassion, and dedication. Their mission is to strengthen the church family and extend Christ’s love through action and service.
Trustees —
Stewards of God’s House
Faithfully oversee the business and financial affairs of the church, ensuring that all resources are managed with integrity and transparency. From maintaining church property to supporting ministry operations, they serve as guardians of the church’s earthly responsibilities so that our spiritual mission can flourish.
Deaconess’ — Women of Grace and Guidance
A sisterhood devoted to faith, compassion, and service. They assist in preparing for sacred ordinances, minister to the needs of the congregation, and provide comfort and guidance to those in need. With hearts full of grace, they uphold the spiritual and emotional well-being of our church family.
Education Ministries
Because education is one of the most important areas in our churches. These groups serve as the vehicles to get the messages and meanings to the masses. The Board of Christian Education is made up of representative from every Educational Area and other area in the church. When a work shop is planned or deemed needed, the Pastor along with the BCE, will make sure that a competent facilitator will be invited.

Sunday School / NBC –

Teaching the Word of God and nurturing faith through engaging lessons and fellowship every week.
Mission Society –
Serving Beyond the Walls
Reaching out to communities in need through prayer, service, and compassionate outreach.
Laymen –
Men of Faith in Action
Empowering men to grow spiritually, lead by example, and serve with strength and humility.
Evangelism –
Sharing the Good News
Spreading the message of salvation and inviting others to experience the love of Christ.

Welcoming You Home
Introducing new members to Antioch’s mission, ministries, and the joy of church fellowship.
Youth Department –
Empowering the Next Generation
Inspiring young believers to grow in faith, leadership, and service through Christ-centered programs.
Praise Team –
Leading Hearts in Worship
Our Praise Team sets the atmosphere for worship through powerful songs and heartfelt praise. With every note, they invite the congregation to experience the presence of God and celebrate His goodness.
Adult Choir –
Voices of Faith and Unity
The Adult Choir uplifts the congregation with harmonious songs that glorify God and strengthen the spirit. Their music embodies worship, fellowship, and devotion.
Worship Ministries
All members, especially the Deacons, are involved with our worship. However, the other key to the worship experience outside of the Pastoral Preaching is the group or groups who help to set the mode for worship. The choirs also serve to help prepare the hearts and minds of the congregations for the reception of God’s Word.
